Not always okay. Not afraid to show it. Photos taken on a day I felt like I just wanted to die, felt completely isolated from the outside world and yet couldn’t leave the house. The truth is that I’m not always very well, but I rarely open up about what goes on for me during these times. However I now want to start talking about the reality of living with mental illness more. This year I vowed to be one of change, and my primary motivation is to help others (and me) understand themselves, the nature of mental illness and how the mind and the brain work.
